High Build System
NeverStrip’s definition of a High Build System is a 20 dry mils of thickness. Systems of 20 to 125 mils are common. A piece of paper is approximately 2 mils and an 1/8″ is 125 mils.
High Build Systems are ideal for a variety of applications. These systems are a good choice for floors, which are too rough for a thin film system. These high build systems are often used in more demanding commercial environments such as kitchens or applications subject to higher traffic demands or chemical exposure. Most high build systems are applied onto concrete or its equivalent.
High Build Systems typically require 2, 3, 4 or more applications of a variety of primers, epoxies, aggregates, and urethane or Polyaspartic topcoats.
Typical applications are:
– Garage floors
– Commercial Kitchens
– Food Processing
– Locker Rooms and Restrooms
– Pulp and Paper
– Animal Care
– Fire Houses
– Clean Rooms
– Higher compressive strength and impact resistance
– Easy to clean; typically seamless with cove base
– Excellent wear
– Good color stability
– Suitable in many chemical exposure environments
– Light reflectivity
NeverStrip Double Broadcast Quartz System
A NeverStrip Double Broadcast Quartz System offers endless decorative color choices with silica quartz combined with thickness, traction and performance.
These five to eight step systems with or without integral, vertical cove base or moisture mitigation is the ultimate in seamless, decorative resinous flooring for kitchens, locker rooms, restrooms, food plants and other commercial environments requiring beauty, high performance and easy of cleaning.
There are multiple base, grout and topcoat choices available depending on the desired sheen, in-use time requirement and performance specifications regarding chemicals, stains and abrasion.
NeverStrip Single Sand Broadcast System
A NeverStrip Single Sand Broadcast System is a less expensive cousin to the Double Broadcast Quartz System. The concept is to provide many of the same “performance and functionality” of a Double Quartz Broadcast System without the decorative element and at a lower cost and faster in-use time.
The tan, silica sand broadcast is typically a single application versus two with the Double Broadcast. The sand is 30 to 60-mesh providing aggressive traction. Pigmented coatings are often used for the Grout and/or Topcoat to enhance appearance.
A Single Sand Broadcast System is used to achieve the same goals as a Double Broadcast System but where function and cost is more important than the decorative aspect. This system is common in kitchens, back of the shop spaces liked hallways, boiler rooms, storage areas, industrial spaces and factory restrooms.
NeverStrip Urethane Cement System
NeverStrip Urethane Cement Systems perform in demanding commercial and industrial environments, where a long lasting, heavy duty, dense, high traction, chemical and moisture resistant system are required. An integral cove base can be installed for seamless wall to floor transitions.
NeverStrip offers three urethane cement systems:
NeverStrip 1/16″ and 1/8″ Self Leveling Urethane Cement System is a urethane modified, cementitious slurry broadcast system consisting of cementitious/urethane slurry and a sand/silica or quartz aggregate broadcast. The installed system reduces porosity and produces a dense, skid-inhibiting sanitary finish that maximized bacterial growth and dirt and chemical penetration.
This durable mixture provides an easy to apply system with its self-leveling feature. The system is finished with pigmented grout coats and optional topcoats of the highest performance coatings specific to the application.
NeverStrip Troweled Urethane Cement System is a 3/16″ to 1/4″ inch urethane modified, cementitious broadcast system consisting of cementitious/urethane and a sand/silica or quartz aggregate broadcast. This system is applied with a metal trowel. The installed system reduces porosity and produces a dense, skid-inhibiting sanitary finish that minimizes bacterial growth and dirt and chemical penetration.
This durable mixture is troweled onto the surface and requires a much higher level of expertise given the rapid cure of the mixture. Even more so than the Self Leveling Urethane Cement System, the troweled system provides even more impact resistance, and excellent thermal shock and chemical resistance making it an ideal choice for manufacturing areas. This system is also a moisture tolerant system and is a solution for many moisture problems.
NeverStrip Troweled Urethane Cement System is an ideal choice for wet areas, dairies, food processing areas, commercial kitchens and other heavy-duty applications.
